Divisional history of the German 29th Infantry-Division, also called the "Falke-Division" in World War Two. The Division was formed in 1936. In October 1938 it went to the Sudetenland. In March and April 1939 the Division invaded Czechoslovakia, in September 1939 into Poland. The Division also took part in the battle for France. From here it went to Russia, were it lost many men under bitter circumstances. In 1943 the 29th Infantry Division was reformed in France and sent to Italy, were it stayed until the end of the war. The book is written in German, illustrated with more than 300 photos, maps and documents. The book is in VERY GOOD shape. |
