Illustrated with HUNDREDS of photos, drawings, plans and maps - mostly in full-colour -  it shows the MAGNIFICENT fortifications of that time, such as the Castillo de La Mota, the Castillo de Almunécar, the Alcazaba de Almeria, the Castillo de Salsas and many other famous fortresses of that time.

The other part of this book is about artillery of the time - also illustrated with many full-colour illustrations.
