The book -entirely written in French - describes the history and development of the V1 - one of the German secret weapons of World War Two. But moreover, the book describes the many V1-launching sites that can still be found in Normandy, France.

The first two chapters of the book describe the history and development of the V1 - with much information about how this weapon was supposed to work. The rest of the book is an inventory of the remaining launching sites of the V1 in Normandy.  Each site is described - with the help of photos, drawings and siteplans, the author shows what remains of the individual sites. He also describes how to find these sites. More than 40 sites are described this way.

All in all, the book contains a huge amount of information for anyone interested in this subject and onyone that wants to visit the remaining launching sites in Normandy. It contains HUNDREDS of photos, drawings, plans and maps.
