Coastal Artillery in the Gibraltar Region 1936-2004

The book contains a detailed and well-documented description of the coastal artillery batteries in the Gibraltar region (in the south of Spain). ALL positions are described - the fixed positions as well as the batteries that were equiped with field artillery guns. It also describes the different types of guns that were used in coastal batteries, as well as the searchlights and their positions. The book is also a regimental history of the activities of the 5th Regiment Coastal Artillery in the same period.

Written by a true expert - who was active in coastal artillery for 16 years - in Spanish and illustrated with more than 160 photos, batteryplans, drawings and maps (some in full-colour), this is a GREAT book for artillery fans! It certainly closes a gap, because not many books were published on the subject!
