It shows the reader how to reach specific sites and tells what to find there. The author gives a detailed description of the history and architectural characteristics of the individual sites. The first volume is about the Atlantic Wall between Dunkirk and Cherbourg, including the D-Day landing beaches, and has 189 pp. The second volume treat the Atlantic Wall between Cherbourg and Brest, including the Channel Islands of Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney. The book has 265 pp. The third and last volume describes the coast between Brest and Biarritz. It has 290 pp. All in all, this is a VERY valuable guide for anyone interested in the Atlantic Wall in France and wanting to visit it. The books are all written in German entirely. Each volume is illustrated with HUNDREDS of photos'drawings, plans and maps.
