The Combat History of schwere Panzer Abteilung 508

The book is a well-documented and very detailed combat history of the schwere Panzer-Abteilung 508 and its deployment in Italy. Written by veterans of the unit. The book captures the remembrances of those who were with the battalion when it formed, during its operations in the difficult tank-country of Italy and the final fighting in Germany and northern Italy, often as infantry.

The book is written in English and illustrated with more than 200 photos, drawings and maps. It contains 10 pages of colour artwork by the famous military-vehicle artist Jean Restayn.
