Secret Bunker Complexes of the German Democratic Republic

The book describes Cold War bunker complexes of former East-Germany. It describes these once "Top Secret" complexes in all their aspects - architecture, security, use, present status, etc. It describes the largest and most important complexes of the Nationaler Verteidigungsrat (National Defence Council) and the Ministeries of National Defence, State Security and Inner State, as well as some of the complexes of the Soviet Army in Germany.

The book is written in German entirely and contains more than 300 illustrations - of which 75 plans, maps and cross-sections as well as more than 130 photos in colour. It explains and describes about 50 different types of shelters and is the most comprehensive description of Cold War bunkers in Germany so far.
